The moon?
I haven't seen this since the early to mid 90s, but I remember something about termites trying to hide from some other insects and possibly something about the moon?

Same here, I just spent an hour trying to find it.
I was very young at the time but I had no idea it was a German film. I certainly recall some sort of war with other insects. One of them die and another gets captured and 'tied' - quite brutal for a kids film if I remember rightly.
