think the DVD will EVER happen?

I know its a long shot, considering this movie has only gotten 5 user reviews (including mine) and no one I have ever met has seen it. I would just love to have this on DVD, or even VCD. I have two copies on VHS but they will wear out some day.

Who knows what could happen though. Maybe Sheila McCarthy will get a staring role in a big lame Hollywood movie , she gets famous and they release all her older movies.

I can see it happening cant you? Yeah, right after I get elected queen of Iceland.

To Her Royal Highness The Queen of Iceland,

Amazon Canada (http://www.amazon.ca), is selling a Patricia Rozema collection DVD set, which includes, "I've Heard the Mermaids Singing."

I just got the package yesterday from Amazon, tore it open in a fury, and the DVD is great! It has been digitally remastered and is crystal clear with great sound. I wish it had some interviews or background information in addition to the film, but given it's age, I'm just happy to have the film.

The other films in the collection are probably worth the price of having as well. "Mansfield Park" was good. I haven't seen the others.

The Patricia Rozema website stated that, "I've Heard the Mermaids Singing" would be sold separately, but I haven't seen it being sold anywhere.

Hope this helps,

Chris
