Hello, I've been trying to find a movie that has something to do with mermaids. So... what does this movie have to do with mermaids??? Thanks.

Nothing at all really. The title is from a poem.

I suggest:

Splash - If you liek mermaids this is for you.
She creature - its a horror flick about a killer mermaid)
I've seen some well done versions of the little mermaid. The Disney version just doesnt do it for me.

Dont let 'Mermaids' starring Cher fool you either.

And check out Secret of Roan Inish, The (1994), I don't think it's exactly what you're looking for but the theme is very similar.

No mermaids in this film (just lesbians), but try "Night Tide," which features Dennis Hopper in love with a mermaid (or is she?).

I suggest an old classic movie from 1948 "Miranda". It is a tale of a man who finds a mermaid and takes her home to experience life in the city which she dreams about. If you like classic old movies this is worth a look. It's on NETFLIX.
