I Think It Was Great In A Crappy Sort Of Way

I mean it was literally one of those films that was so bad it was good. It actually struck me as a possible Troma Team project before I saw it wasn't from them. But yeah, the thing that sticks out to me is when you get a movie like this, it's usually done by a crew of guys who just love film (and are probably film students themselves) and this is the best they could do for the budget and resources they have. I mean if they could have done better, I'm sure they would have. But this is just one of those things were you have to excuse the terrible parts and just enjoy it. Really, true horror/cult film fans like myself excuse that type of stuff anyway.

I liked it.

I agree 100% dude. Growin up around ages 10-13 i REALLY started gettin into horror movies and stumbled accross this VHS and grew up lovin it over the years. Its cheesy and low budget and goofy but its done intentionally that way (or at least i think so).

And I believe the Director did work for Troma briefly, so he probably got a education on low budget filmmaking by working with them.

I watched this again the other night and it still cracks me up.

"Dan Wake? Dan Wake? student="He died" lol

"We're all gonna burn in the fiery pits of hell!" "Dont worry dude, you're a athiest remember"? "Oh yeah".

I really wish theyd release a special edition DVD of this. I own the original dvd release of it, and while the quality is a lil bit better than the VHS it could be cleaned up a bit. It could also have some interviews or a commentary track on there as there isn't much info available on the production of the film or info on the actors.
