I think there are a lot of knee-jerk votes here. I gave this a 5/10. Frankly, it's not that great, but it's far from horrible.
shareI just watched it again on DVD (part of the "Too Cool for School Collection" set) after maybe 20 years, and gave it a 5/10. For the most part the acting was more than adequate for the type of movie, and the story was much better than most in the genre. Not a classic, but certainly not a bad movie....actually better than I remembered. I'd watch it again, even...but wouldn't go out of my way to watch it again. Maybe in another 20 years.

Completely agree. My guess is that the movie has to develop a cult following so more IMDb members will see it and cast their votes. I personally gave it a 7 out of 10. A fun, entertaining movie!

Yeah I like it too, HUNK definitely beats any comedy films I've seen lately. The acting is good too, especially from the man who plays Doctor "D".
