Decent comedy.. and acting .. for low-budget

Admittedly I was impressed with the overall quality acting, after watching this recently - courtesy my new 'Too Cool For School' 80's teen comedy collection DVD.

This movie actually has substance, good acting, and a plot, unlike many low-budget 80's B-films. And many moments were sincerely amusing, if not downright hilarious. Not your typical, cliche' mindless T/A, f-bombs, and cussing 'fillers' commonly associated with low-grade B or C films.

The only downers in this thing were the Sea Spray 'snobs' who couldn't act to save themselves, or way overacted in attempt to be amusing or repulsive. The latter, yes.
