One of my top very favorite movies!!

I have always loved this movie from the first time I saw I saw it. It is such a beautiful peaceful picture. Christine Lahti was terrific and the young girls did an outstanding job for such a young age and lack of experience. I know most people find this movie slow and boring, but it really is a splendid piece of work. Simple and brilliant. I'd love to see it on DVD with some extra features....like maybe some deleted scenes??
