Sooo obvious!!

As soon as the cop gets killed in the hotel room i was convicted it's just part of the scam and she's the victim, so obvious! By that time i just didn't figure out how they were supposed to get money from her, but as soon as they look for the money in the car and the old fart looks so surprised, i was like, ok now i get it.
It was almost awkward when she goes back to the bar and hears the con revealed by the guys, i was like, is the average audience really supposed to understand only NOW that she was con'd?? Really? Such a bad move.
Besides, I always thought she's allegedly a smart psychologist who writes books and what not, she's passed like 2-3 days with con men and should know they are untrustworthy, yet she falls for it the first time she's told the cop's dead and a second time when they pretend not having the money with them?? I mean ok the cop's might be dead <i'd check his pulse!>, but forgetting the money?? HELLO? From then on she MUST KNOW she gets ripped off!
And the last scene in the airport? I thought she had a plan worthy of the name! And when she gets caught after making the mistake about the knife being mike's knife, i thought its also part of her plan... but no! She's NO PLAN whatsoever and made the mistake unwillingly!! Hell, wtf?? how can u make such an obvious mistake?? are u stupid?
And she kills him?? Ok her feelings where hurt, she got fvcked and con'd but still, it doesn't stick to the character IMO. She's a psychologist and a writer for Christ's, i don't think she would/could kill somebody in cold blood like she did. For what?? OK 80'000$ isn't nothing but common... It's her own fault all that happened!
And the last: "Thank you sir, can i have another one?"
Please....

You're just mad 'cause they fooled ya. You thought another twist was coming, and the twist was that there wasn't really one. See there?

Hehe.

Soooo... there was a twist?

Yes I figured that out too. Very predictable.

Schrodinger's cat walks into a bar, and / or doesn't.

People today are a lot more discerning than they were in 1987. They've seen a lot more of this type of film. Nowadays you have to get really elaborate, like in Sneaky Pete.

I think this post hasn't really understood the psychologist's character though. It goes back to the philosophy of the film, stated by Mike, that you have to allow yourself an adventure now and then.

Sure it was obvious But I did enjoy the movie
