Who loved this Movie?

I did. This movie is the most underated Film I have ever watched in a cult sense of the way( except Big trouble in little china except most people love that movie) come on How many movies out there have a line like "what were you expecting to find in there?" " I dont know a Mummy or maybe even a Baby pterodactyl" now thats great stuff, and a catipillar dog and a sacrificial virgin and a 174 year old Mummy Grandfather, and a Baby pterodactyl as your friends, not to Mention Charlie who is funny as hell. this Movie Rocks!

I liked it, good fantasy, never boring. If you are expecting a sequel to House....sorry about that, but it is a good movie

You're So Cool

If you hate this movie you just don't get it. Without a doubt one of the best 80's horrors.

i loved it, but i haven't seen it for at least 15 years now (damn, ... i'm getting old). just had to think of it and i desperately need to rewatch it, though i'm scared it might suck badly.

Always enjoyed it. Definately underrated.

I've always loved this movie! It's practically a family tradition to watch it.

reply

Definitely a good movie and worth watching if u r into that sort of franchise. Never got the appreciation it deserved.

I DID! I DID! I DID! May be it's not so underrated BUT it's VERY ENTERTAINING & VERY NICE!

As a horror movie forget it. The characters and the animals, even the story line is a hoot. It is impossible to get scared when you are laughing so hard. Gramps driving for the first time lets you know you are in for wild ride. I bought the two movies in one box. I heard that there are two more sequels but have not seen those.

I showed my girlfriend the 'House' movies for the first time last October. While she liked the first one, she prefers this one. I will always hold the original 'House' as the superior movie, but 'House II' is a great companion piece and a strong follow-up with a different approach. It's funny, filled with crazy *beep* and has creativity just oozing from it. If you saw it when you were younger and liked it... watch it again and you'll still appreciate it. Do yourself a favor though, don't expect the same tone as the original or you will be disappointed on some level. So yes, I do love this movie.

I remember seeing this when it was released and mildly enjoying it as a stand-alone movie. Now that I've seen the first "House" I have to be kinder to this film, because it is actually a more entertaining film than the original.
