Yeah I remember seeing the trailer to this film as an eleven year old and wanting to see it and now that I finally have my feelings are all positive! They certainly don't make movies like it anymore! So many films nowadays are filled with desensitising violence, raunchy sex scenes and numbing vulgarity that you nigh suffer a coronary! This charming film had a decent storyline, down-to-earth characters and a nostalgic, even idyllic, backdrop particularly that of the parentals on the river! *sigh* And not a hint of indigestion afterwards! ;-)
