Is this another version of Being There?

this was remade as the American film "City Of Angels"... although this is a much better film than the remake.

It's been a long time since I last saw WINGS OF DESIRE (seen it maybe three times), and even longer since I saw BEING THERE, but as I recall, they aren't very similar. But I can't give any relevant reasons; it's just been too long, and I'm just going on my impressions from way back when.




Just make a movie that makes me care, one way or another. I'm open.
