Gabriel Byrne's Scenes

Can someone post them on youtube. I really just want to see his parts because I hear the movie is terrible.

The movie isn't horrible.

Watch it. It's not a masterpiece, but it has an interesting storyline and good performances.

I know you are, but what am I?

I agree. The movie is no Oscar nomination but it is good light-hearted humour. If you're so into Gabriel Byrne, then you should watch the movie to see him in it. We can't always like the movies our fave actors/actresses are in without going through what may be their dud ones aswell. I don't think it's a dud one of his anyway.

For once, maybe someone will call me 'Sir' without adding 'You're making a scene'...

I'm sorry but, anyone who hates this movie must got to hate the good and simple things in life. It can silly but many films are. That is not the point of this picture.

If you watch the whole film, then the romance with Bryne will have more impact, because it will be more understandable.

You could just netflix it, if you're so worried about your time. LOL

I don't understand it either. It's not perfect and a bit weird in parts but it pulled some genuine laughs out of me. For instance, take the scene on the stairs when she steps out of her skirt. I swear that's my worst nightmare, literally. I see it as pure entertainment. And she's actually funny! Watching her trying to worm her way out of her clumsiness delights me!

As for those who keep bringing up Cheers as if that's the only worthwhile thing she has done, or that she never again lived up to that standard, I've always enjoyed her projects outside of Cheers more than the actual show. Even after it.

I'm with you Kelea7. I've enjoyed Shelley's films more than her Cheers years (in fact, i started watching Cheers when Kirstie joined the show).

She has made some enjoyable films like Night Shift, The Money Pit, Hello Again, Outrageous Fortune, Troop Beverly Hills and the Brady Bunch Movie.
