:) Well I could agree with the 3 out of ten, but not with the 'lame and bad'.
It's a nice B-Movie that has IMHO aged well, better than many movies in fact.
I guess it's just not your taste.
The script is cheesy sometimes drags, and the actors don't take themselves too seriously.
But the concept has many elements that still grab me. Oldschool elements like WW3, mutants, wasteland mixing it with weird, cheesy lines, sexy soldiers, and a wrestling star as the protagonist!
You can see it's a mess, but it's pretty well executed by B-Movie standards.
While the characters are not top class actors they are charming, and I was surprised at the quality of the Frog costumes.
I gave it a 5
script, acting, plot all get 1/10
my enjoyment of the film 10/10
BTW - anyone notice on the DVD it says "Strat Film" in the menu screen? classic

How did he mark it up to 3 / 10. I switched off before they arrived at Frogtown. And now you know why wrestlers should never be actors (hear that Hulk Hogan)?

EPIC!
I just wanna say I love how being impaled by a projectile katana does not incapacitate you at all!
STUPID! Yes
LAME! No
BAD! No

I agree. This movie is by no means lame or bad. It's awesome. In the truest sense of the word. It inspires awe.
Rowdy Roddy Piper. As a post-apocalyptic drifter. With an exploding codpiece. Fighting three-penised frog-people.

I always thought it was deliberately lame and bad for the amusement factor. Worked for me, I think it's one of the funniest things I've ever seen.

The only thing here that is "lame and bad" is Xcalate_1776 who created a thread with a four-word post, then abandoned it.

This film is a good deal of silly tongue-in-cheek fun, with a very engaging lead performance by Roddy Piper as smart-ass hero Sam Hell. Moreover, it's always a treat to see reliable veterans Big Bill Smith and Rory Calhoun in colorful supporting roles. 8 out of 10 from me.
