Being a tough-guy doesn't pay the bills.


Burt was a man's man, and had a sense of honor and integrity, as well as some serious deadly skills. I liked him and admired him, but he was barely making ends meet. If you don't want to be a hit man (and he had many offers, and declined them), what well paying career-paths are left for someone with Burt's qualifications?

He was just plain lucky that an angel came into his life.


You may walk on the beach, you may swim in the ocean... under SWAT team surveillance, of course.
