Anyone saw this at the theaters as a kid?

I sure did when i was 5 back in 1987, i loved it and remembered that i would rent it alot of times at the video stores when i lived in St. Louis.

No but I remember renting it when it was just release in VHS in 88,I was 6 or 7.I remember they had a huge promotonial poster of harry opening a fridge , just the look of harry made me wanna see it.
Then a couple of weeks later, I went to summer camp and this film was part of the movie night along with "karate kid" ...haaaaa the late 80s good times I tell ya!

I remember seeing it in theaters down in Ft. Myers, Florida when i was 6 years old. I never heard of Bigfoot before this movie, so it was somewhat weird to me, but i was a kid, so i loved it. My mom taped it off HBO for us in '88, and my brother and i watched it thousands of times. Truthfully, i think my mom and dad STILL have that very VHS tape. I'm sure it's worn to death by now. When it came out on DVD a couple years ago, i rushed to stores to get it, because NOBODY could find it on VHS for a long time. It's one of those cute, timeless 80's classics you have to cherish as a child and as an adult.

It's very possible, but if I did, I didn't remember any of it when I caught it again on TV...

Funny how I came upon this page... I was on Facebook talking about tonight's Season Finale of Dexter, feat. John Lithgow, and my friends and I were talking about how good of an actor John Lithgow is.. so she just happened to remind me that he was in THIS movie as well...I remember seeing a very late showing of Harry and the Hendersons when it came out in theaters back 1987.. I was 12 at the time.. it was pretty funny.. but I haven't seen it since... so I actually forgot that he was in this movie.. lol

Yes saw it 87 thereabouts, remember seeing this poster outside the cinema

87, 88, and 89 were great years for going to movies.
Such imagination and light fun.
