I use to watch this when I was little, later on I would ask friends if they remembered a movie where kids went through a rainbow to a world with a dwarf king, where people went inside a blob monster and became butterflies.

I had the same problem and only remembered the same scene as you, everyone I asked didnt remember it... even my younger brother and my mum who used to watch it with me.
So happy I am not going mad, now just to find it online so I can enjoy it all over again and prove to people I am not mad
