Hi everyone. I'm french and I was wondering if there was a certain meaning, or hidden significance, in the name Roosevelt E. Roosevelt, since in the French dubbed version, the name has been translated by another which has got nothing to do with it...

Not really. "Roosevelt" as a first name is generally used by black people, and Robin Williams does use a black accent for the character.
