WHAT IS SAID DURING THE NURSEY RHYME??

Just wondering if anyone out there knows what is being said during the nursery song ?

I have an idea myself of what it says, but anyone else have any ideas ?

well, the computer says it's saying "burial" but it doesn't always sound like that. I thought the one part of it sounded like "Redrum, Are you there"?? or something like that.

well yes and no... the song is reversed. when played properly it says burial but when we hear it in the movie it doesnt say anything at all, it seems like it says something but its just burial, reversed. redrum... you must be thinking of the shinning :)

it really sounds like its saying "burial, are you there?".

ah that brought back memories! As an 8 year old i always thought it was saying "are you there? are you there? there you are"... still sounds similar to that, but also sounds as though it is something playing backwards.

What a great topic!
The only scary thing about this movie is that crazy nursery ryme!
I always thought it said "there you are, stay there, stay there, stay there...
but after reading some of the replys on this topic, and watching the movie again, i am now convinced it says "play around, be bad, be bad, be bad.
Just watched the bit with tina in the camper, and the TV turns itself on, that freaky doll with the young girl crying blood.
This movie really freaked me out as a kid, even more than A Nightmare On Elm st.
After watching it again tonight, it still makes me cringe on certain parts of the movie..... and that doll?
The doll is just freaky.
id like to own one if someone has one for sale?

I don't know, but that song freaks me out! My husband thought it said 'are you there'. For some reason I thought it was a nursery song played backwards.

Great question! I always wondered as well! It is very eerie! I thought when I was little it was saying are you there are you dead but now I dont know!

Just watched it with my boyfriend and we both thought it was saying "Are you up? Are you there? Are you dead?" over and over again.

Just watched it, and that's exactly what I heard. Whatever it is, it's pretty random and quite the strange thing to put in a movie.

When I was like 8 and watched it with my friends we thought it said "Hey mom, hey dad" over and over.
I'm sure that's not it but at the time it made sense :)

I ripped the song to my pc then I reversed it , and it is definately repeating burial over and over(just backwards)
