IMDb forums going offline later this month.

For those not aware, IMDb.com will be taking their forums offline later this month. I wrote a post over on The Shining board about this. Once they go down, a possible alternative could be the Stanley Kubrick subreddit -

I know there aren't specific categories for each of his films, but it's probably one of the largest and most popular alternatives available right now.

I think there are already a few from IMDb there, and maybe a few new on the way. I know someone started a Slack channel, but I don't really feel like that's a better alternative compared to reddit (which itself isn't a good forum replacement).

This sucks so bad. The trolls had to take a good thing and ruin it for everyone. If the message boards are gone I don't see any reason to visit this website any longer.

Pract8cally, the only reason I use this app. There are plenty of other sites that have any other information that I look for 5hat contain much more detailed info.
