I truly have been looking for this movie for years

When I was a kid my sister and I used to go down to the local VHS Rental store and clear out the horror section every weekend. There were movies there that we had literally seen hundreds of times. They had a deal that you could rent 3 movies for 3 days for 3 dollars as long as they were marke 3-3-3. I have to say I couldn't wait to see my favorite horror movies with that bright orange 3-3-3 sticker on them.

We would rent as many as we could afford and go home and watch them all weekend. Sometimes watch the same one over and over. Of all of my childhood memories these are the ones I cherish the most. Sitting and watching horror movies that sometimes scared me to death or other times had me rolling in laughter at how cheesy they were.

Anyway I could remember some parts to a movie that I used to watch all of the time but I couldn't remember the name of it. I have searched for years to find it and even coming across this title I never knew that "Forever Evil" was the movie I was searching for. Thanks to Yahoo Answers and an amazing person named Mitchell I finally have the answer I was looking for.

Those were the days... my sister and folks searching for "normal" movies while I clutched handfuls of VHS tapes with the goriest, weirdest titles and covers and imploring my Dad to rent them for me. Ah, the 80's.

I know, I know, I know. My mom was one of the first people of the second wave of folks who brought a VCR, I'm talking the big joint with the fake wooden panel on it. And we'd go down to the Gardner Manor Mall's video store. She had a taste for Mystery movies but what was funny was her definition of mystery was the raunchiest, sub-genre, goriest, piece of filth ever to be viewed. That was one of her crazy points, I confessed and it's because of the ol' witch my tastes are so...obscure.
Anyway, I remember going and smelling that old mildewy smell mixed in with old popcorn and soda float grape aerosoling the air from Orange Juilius from across the way and in the store it was seperated by the XXX side where the men of town would walk in and out of the saloon style doors in silence.
Oh, I miss her for that. And this is one of those movies that she had introduced us to which started my taste for gore, that and George Ferrin's Fangoria collection and him ranting about running off to do Horror FX
