6.1, fair rating?



I wasn't expecting anything great and I guess that's always an advantage. And that's because I looked at imdb before watching, and they're usually pretty reliable if you wanna know about some sort of basic quality.

I gave it a shot and liked the 60s scenery and Turturro seemed interesting as always. Oh and of course Jodie Foster was too pretty. And in the end I thought it was pretty good.

Now, I gave it a 6 myself, so I shouldn't be bothered by 6.1, but people always overrated films, especially with a 1-10-scale. Compare this to a lot of other movies that get 7 and upwards, it seems underrated. By how people tend to vote, I think it deserves somewhere between 6.7-6.8?
