Shot more then once and still standing!

This is a very good movie that reminded me of No Country For Old Man, but there was one thing I found unrealistic. At the last stand off or Mexican stand off most of these guys get hit with more then one rounds and the majority of the guns they use will keep you down with at least 2 shots. A shotgun will take you out with one blast but this huge guy seams to take it like their 9mm. AK rounds and machine guns are kind of the same as well. It just doesn’t look real. They also made the place look like the Wild Bunch!

Who cares the end gunfight where all the soldiers are killed is one of the best action scenes of all time. I think it was also meant to portray that they all knew they were going to die, and they were gonna go down fighting. They were all moments from death, they just wanted to die killing as many mexican soldiers as they could. When a movie is as awesome as Extreme Prejudice, I don't ask questions I just bask in it's awesomeness.

You're right. No way they could take that many hits from weapons of that caliber. But heck, you have to admit it makes for a tough scene. A guy going down from a measly single bullet is not nearly as exciting as seeing one take multiple rounds and still firing his own weapon as he goes down.

Most paranormal skeptics are terrified its all true and are desperate to prove otherwise

There have been all kinds of instances where people have been shot, even several times, and are still standing and fighting, depends on where they are hit and how much blood loss. Handgun bullets like 9mm have pretty poor stopping power.
