Narration

Ive watched EFS like a million times, and recently ive seen it aired on some sky channel (forget which). I missed the start, but at the end, when the Jews are escaping into the woods, the narrator starts speaking. Now the one ive always heard was the English dude, but it was an American speaking. Is the English narrator the actual one, and the American added later or what? Any help here please?
