During the 'Brave Hearts' segment, when they're converting the bus into being everything they're going to need to fight Krader's men, did that remind anyone else of all the times in the A-Team when they would build something out of whatever was laying around to use against the villains?

Mmm, no, I think it's just you. The A-team was a different TV show.
