Favorite Moments!

I loved when the turtles are sent into battle and the little one says "im scared sarge" and the sargeant turtle goes "we are all scared son". The voices were hilarious.

I love in the beginning when they show the ancient ritual, and when Ernest picks up the kids and they cover his eyes when he's driving, and when they go swimming, and when the Chief tells them the story about the warrior and the ritual, and everything from when they approach Ernest about stopping the miners clear through to the end of the movie.

I also like the part where the kids are playing "guess who" on the bus. Earnest is just the type of guy to go along with it. If you go back to the movie and think about it Earnest would have gotton away with it if he had not turned around and said I knew it was you all the time. I also like when they push that mean counsellor/lifeguard in the water because he almost drowned "Moose". Well it turns out that he broke his leg, and the juvenile delinquents laugh at him and say "He's learning to swim the Dennis way."

Then there was the part where Earnest is telling his campers that he can identify any kind of plant with the way it feels. The boys decide to play a joke on him an expose him to poison ivy. He tells them he does not know what the plant is and they tell him it is poison ivy. Then the nurse finds out and tells him that with this much poison ivy he is going to need another shot. The nurse tells him "this is not going to hurt ............ much. It really hurts him and Earnest is afraid of needles. Just his expession of getting the needle again is funny.

In the beginning when he looks at the toilet and then at the camera and goes "ewwwwwww" while making that face.

Pre-credits sequence with the Brave in the ceremony of "The Blade, The Stone, and The Arrow", which incidentally used to scare the hell out of me as a kid.

The "Brave Hearts" sequence.

Bronk Stinson (the Foreman) kicking the Stewart family out of their home. That is some serious drama for any film, one of the reasons why I can respect this as more than just a screwball kid's comedy.

Ernest getting the vaccine. "A man who's never tasted quiche. Is that the smallest needle you've got? Alright, I admit it! I stole the Lindbergh baby! I am Joseph Minghela! OWWWWWWWWW!"

The Second Chancers starting and finishing **** in the mess hall.

So many more.

I realize I'm about 4 years late since the last post but who gives, my favorite scene is when Ernest is getting attacked by that combo-grill and just starts screaming.

and it teaches respect!"

Eddie: "Yes, Jake, the liver-loaf lunch arranger

has taken us one step closer

to the elusive eggs erroneous."

Jake: "Ready, Eddie?!

Lobster bisque!

Lobster bisque, here! Ready, ready!

[ High-pitched voice ] No, no, not the lobster bisque!

[ Normal voice ] Oh , you don't want to go in the liver-loaf arranger?

[ High-pitched voice ] No!

[ Normal voice ] Okay, l won't put you in there then .

Get outta here! You and your sappy friend , too.

[ High-pitched voice ] No, no!

Ah ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!"

Eddie: "l love crustaceans, Jake. Put him in.

All right, got it, Jake. Got it.

Elevate, elevate!

Pretty good , Jake."

Jake:" Chicken potpie!

Chicken . . .

[ Clucking ]

Pot. . .

Eddie: "Chicken potpie, Jake."

Jake: "Comin' your way, Eddie! Rockin' fire!"

Eddie: "Shoot it, baby! Shoot it!"

Jake: "Ah ha ha!

[ Motor whirring ]

l want you to go long this time, Eddie."

Eddie: "Ready, Jake!"

Jake:" And now for Fettuccine Alfredo."

Eddie: "Fettuccine Alfredo, Jake."

Jake: "First, the fettuccine. . .

And then a little ltalian named Fredo.

[ ltalian accent ] No, mamma mia!

Not in the liver-loaf arranger!

[ Normal voice ] Of course in there."

Eddie: "Let 'er rip, Jake." *proceeds to get covered in it trying to catch it*
