Leave it to Ernest to ruin an urban legend. Even so, that was my first introduction TO the Hook story, and thinking about it now probably the ONLY time that the story's character ever actually SAW the deranged psycho the hook was attached to instead of just hauling ass on a gut instinct and finding the hook later as the only proof he was out there. Personally I always wondered how Ernest's whole story of putting Vern in that scenario went.
