I just bought this on DVD, I'm Australian and don't speak a word of Danish and the bloody thing doesn't have any subtitles! Can anyone suggest a solution? There's nothing in the menu setup etc. I actually bought it in a legit Australian store, not over the net....
shareEr, I don't know what DVD you bought. I bought the Australian region 4 DVD and it has subtitles for all the Danish dialogue. Maybe there's something wrong with your player? Have you tried to watch the film yet?
The majority of the film's in English, by the way.
Yes, I've tried watching the movie but because I can't speak Danish I'm missing most of the plot....hence the question, where are the subtitles?
Did you have to set anything up to get them happening or did they just appear when you put the movie on?
Press the 'subtitle' button on your remote, and it should turn them on. You're right though, they're not automatic, you'll have to turn them on.
shareLord, I just read your response now, ran over to my DVD collection, grabbed the *beep* out, put it on and pressed the "Subtitle" button on the DVD remote (which I didn't realise existed by the way) and hey presto! the subtitles appeared.
I will now retire to the lounge room to watch EPIDEMIC for the first time...

wow! it's like magic! the buttons on the remote actually do stuff and the labels even say what they will do. who would have thought?
