Euro version vs. American?

Who has seen both versions? which do you think is the better film? i have only seen the British dvd cut, which is the Euro version. The US version with the Roger Corman edit sounds kind of terrible; apparently it adds in stock footage from cheap American action films, while cutting out all hints of interracial sex between characters, as well as other erotic elements. which do you prefer, and is it worth seeking out the US cut?
