Is it true that in Duet For One, Julie Andrews tries to commit suicide???
I can't get a hold of a copy of this film and i was worndering because i read somewhere she did... if so what way???

Yes she does attempt suicide. She is watching one of her performances on television (after she is unable to play anymore) and takes a bottle of pills. Then she goes to the bathroom and runs water and then kinda passes out. Her maid comes in to find her.....and sorry I am spoiling the movie. lol. anyway it is hard to watch her do that, though it is only her character.
