I always thought it was weird as ridiculously "by the book" as Joe was that he stood by smiling as Pep was torturing a suspect in custody. But it was funny as hell.
shareOr how "by the book" Joe is never bothered by the fact that the suspect has the right to have an attourney present while being questioned.
shareWasn't Emil cuffed to the chair? I always pictured Streebek pulling the drawer out of the desk and hitting him in the crotch with it. Maybe that's just me. The whole point of that scene was for you to draw your own conclusion. I think Joe's smile said, "I don't know and I don't wanna know, as long as he gets the job done."
