Really bad acting...

Wow, the acting in this movie is just horrible. The "mom" lady is terrible to look at and annoying to listen to. The little girl is even worse. I can't tell if it's her acting or her lines but it's just not good. Also, she is not exactly a cute kid by any means. Not a good choice for the main kid character.

The old couple are the only people in this movie that have any acting ability. The chubby middle age guy is ok but his lines weren't that great.

Oh and the two party girls are horrible as well.

I can't think of another movie where 1/2 the actors are hard to listen to and look at. I find it hard to believe that someone didn't notice that no one had any charisma or ability to make their lines believable.

Haven't finished the movie yet but I hope getting through this initial bs is worth it.

This is supposed to be a *creepy horror* movie

It is anything BUT

Outside the pathetic "acting" here, it is nothing much than a ripoff of (said) Private Eyes (Conway/Knotts)

So far I have all but yawned at all the goofball "creepy"ness or whatever it is supposed to be. Some of the horror action is so fake (esp the earlier with the dolls attacking the blond punkee) it is laughable.

There's nothing wrong with the acting in this film & Carrie Lorraine was fantastic playing Judy.

I didn't think the acting was bad at all. Some of the characters were very annoying (like Judy) but I don't think that's the actresses fault. It's just the way the character was written. Carolyn Purdy Gordon gave the best performance in my opinion and she was my favorite character to watch. She was so rude and hilarious.
