A pretty conservative movie

For all the hype about this movie being DIRTY, hence the title, my older gals from the golf club and me rented this on Amazon Prime and were surprised at how rated it was.

Jennifer Jones (the gal from Ferris Bueller's Day Off) plays a bored and horny teenager whose forced to go to some snobby country club for the summer. She hates it, and who wouldn't? Its people over 80 playing bridge games all day and listening to really tired music. Her family is pretty bland too, including her talentless sister and a father from The Golden Girls episodes.

She meets Patrick Swayze at some sleazy next door nightclub, and soon she wants to learn how to move like him. He teaches her, but aside strong chemistry- the love scenes are off screen. So no sex, so butt cheeks scenes, no nipples. Just the morning after shots and a lot of Republicans not approving of her relationship because he's from the wrong side of the tracks.

This film, made in 1987, should have just been made in 1941. The values it has on screen remind us that there was a time when censorship was at its worst.

GRADE: F- Fail

If you are going to troll, you should at least get the name of the stars in the movie correct.

reply

Excuse me dear? No troll here. I know the stars. Read the whole review before judging, jerk off.

Let it go, Jason. An asshole like Ken probably bought the VHS (the day it came out), the DVD (the day it came out) and the Blu Ray (the day it came out) of this truly awful turd of a movie.

But that's his problem, isn't it.

Thanks gbennett- that explains it lol. Im glad you get where I was coming from.

Or maybe I know that Jennifer Jones was not in the movie but then you think you know everything when you know nothing at all.

reply

No you don't. Jennifer Jones was born in 1919 which would've made her 87 when this movie premiered.
