Anyone's else's favorite death wish film?

Although Death Wish 3 probably has the funniest writing and atmosphere, I prefer this one over all the other death wish films. John P. Ryan - what a villian!!

"how about... a royal flush!" *loren avedon kicks a cauldron of boiling water into the bad guys*

I agree. Death Wish 3 was the funniest, but this one was biggest and the best.

reply

The original was the best in quality, but DW3 was the best action film.

Yes, I do think in many ways this is the best Death wish-flick. I do love Orson Welles-movies but when I'm about to watch something with Charles Bronson, I don't expect to see "Citizen Kane" - I expect to see good old Charlie wasting bad guys and even though fourth part had very little to got to do with the original classic I think it's as entertaining as 80's action film can ever be.

4 is My favorite. It has the most interesting plot and great actors as the villains. I have one remark that I never saw DW 2 but from the 4 I saw this one stands out as the best. Don't miss it.

Id ay DW 3 due to the over the top scenes and hilarious characters, however DW 4 is almost as entertaining.

DW3 is my 2nd favorite movie of all-time behind Commando. But DW4 is fantastic and my second favorite of the DWseries.

Forgiveness is between them and God. It's my job to arrange the meeting

Death Wish 4 is definitely the best. Lots of plot twists and turns. Even though it only lasts like 1:40 mins, it seems to go on forever (In a good way)

Death Wish 3 was my favourite for a long time but Death Wish 4 has recently knocked it out of the number one spot.

How many children have you killed with this S H I T!?

It's not your fault Erica died. It's those damn drugs!!

I wish i could erase my memory so I could watch this film for the 1st time again!

Even though I haven't seen 5 yet, this one is probably my favorite of the series. I also like the cardboard cut out of Leatherface from TCM2 you see in the video store. TCM2 is another favorite of mine.

Death Wish 3 is my favorite, but this is a close second. Just gotta give the edge to 3 for the intense urban warfare at the climax of the film.

The Saw Is Family

This is probably the most entertaining movie of the series and not in a "so bad it's good" kind of way like 3.

reply

The story line is a lot like that of Yojimbo/Fistful of dollars. I have to be loyal to DW3, but this one is an extremely close second.

DW 4 just edges out DW 3 as my favorite, because it's slightly more "so bad it's good" than DW 3.
