Impartial Vietnam documentaries

I enjoyed this film, but are there any decent Vietnam documentaries out there that don't beat you over the head with an anti-war message? Impartial Vietnam documentaries, anyone?

No book or film will ever be 100% balanced and I don't even look for that in a short 2 hour or less film. This is a pretty honest and factual documentary. There is nothing in it that is made up or twisted - just the honest words of those who lived through the war and suffered. If you feel it to be unduly slanted towards the war is wasteful/cruel/futile point of view then perhaps you are still in the thrall of the lies told about how and why the US became embroiled in South East Asia.

There are many documentaries that still try to justify the war which you can find on youtube - others just focus on the tactics and strategy and ignore the causes and justifications.

Personally I feel this is only moderately presented from the anti-US side of the argument. Hearts and Minds is also excellent and allows Vietnamese victims a say too.

I live in Vietnam and while we do have some issues with freedom of speech and corruption the situation is FAR AND AWAY better than it would have been if any the US backed puppet regimes [there were several different groups of gangster/thugs in charge for varying amounts of time] had managed to stay in power. I have also lived in Korea (South) and feel less oppressed by society here than I did there. Korea has enormous freedom of speech and corruption problems too. As does the US, UK, Japan, you name it.
