According to Comcast, thisn movie is scheduled to run on the Syfy channel on Saturday, 12-15-12, at 6:30pm. And it has a timeslot twio and a half hours long. Really? A non-genre film in the wrong niche, plus with enough commercial interruptions to double its running time? I can see Spyke doing this with Walking Tall...

The iMDB Tv listings confirm that Syfy will show at 6:30 on 12-15-12 a movie title The Dead, only it's a different movie. One that's fitting for that channel and it's theme for that day. It will have nothing to do with James Joyce.

The Dead that actually came on syfy, is the one that came out in 2010, which is a zombie movie and not a dramatic piece. I am actually watching it as i'm typing this (it came on today). Oddly enough the description provided is for the 1987 film which upon looking up, had nothing to do with zombies. I think it is a matter of mislabeling, and someone being to lazy to double check.
