Piano Playing Itself!!

Does anybody understood that scene, near the end, when the doctor confronts Katie, the piano plays without anyone there!
I didnĀ“t get it!

reply

That was explained in a earlier scene. The wheelchair guy said that he had a sensor device which read his heart-rate. When his heart-rate went above a certain heartbeat per minute, it would activate the piano.

So, in that scene, when the piano started playing, the woman knew he was getting nervous.
That meant he knew who she was.

Thank You. Never noticed that! :)

No problem. It was in a scene where he was doing some kind of exercise.

Yes, but my sense was more the other way around: he wasn't sure the disguise was real, but not that doubtful, either, but when he approached Steenburgen on the stairs and began to get nervous (as in "WTF's going on here?") when he saw Steenburgen's reaction to the piano when it began to play itself then HE KNEW who she was. I think that was the clincher, and also the start of the final act; in the house, I mean.

Yes, he suspected as he wheeled over to her. Notice her hair cap was turned differently on her head and she no longer looked confident and smug. Then her reaction toward the piano playing sealed it for him..lmao!
