pretty bad

ok, this movie is pretty bad, but i like seeing jeffrey combs playing a starring role. the russian-roulette scenes in the beginning were pretty entertaining as well.

This is only pretty bad if you actually mean bada$s!!!! Wings Hauser & Brion James reunited for post-apocalyptic battle???? That's a freakin' winner. My favorite scenes so far are the chainsaw russian roulette, and when Brion James takes out his own crew for trying to rape the girl, and then the girl gives it up to him because he's quite obviously most awesome.

Ugh! I wish I could find this. I am on a mission to see every movie Jeffrey Combs was ever in, and this film is not making it easy to achieve that goal!

There's a VHS copy (I don't think it has ever been released on DVD) of Dead Man Walking on eBay that ends in three days and is starting at only $1.99. Cheap shipping costs, too! Here's the link, if you're interested:

And, no, this is not my auction! ;-) I commented earlier in this thread so I received your reply automatically. Hope this helps! :-)

And it looks like there are several inexpensive ones on www.half.com as well, starting at only $1.48.

I think you might have to purchase this movie to finally be able to see it. The video rental stores don't stock too many VHS and what they do keep surely will not include this stinker! :-P

I think I bought a used VHS of this on Amazon for $0.01..... I would take a peak there.

I originally saw this on HBO in mid 90's, then a week later taped in onto VHS (crappy copy). In the years since, I have watched it many, many times, and it has become a personal favorite of mine. I guess I am into these 'apocalyptic doom plague'; movies, hah. With the thousands of low budget horror flicks that have been made since the 50's, there was always something about this movie that always made it an interesting watch. No doubt, Brion James (RIP) plays one of the most really demented psychos I have ever watched. All in all, I say if you premise it with not expecting a lot, you might really like it as I do. Wings and Brion make a terrific 'Laurel and Hardy' type pair, and without typing spoilers, the 2 bar scenes are permanently etched in my mind.

So. no DVD, too bad, I would buy it if there was one!
