good pedigree of actors/director...in enjoyable 80s schlock

interesting film, good premise, some stylish parts, some unintentionally funny parts, drags abit, funny schocky climax. and of course its funny to see a good pedigree of actors doing 'schlock', jenny agutter running down corridors in high heels and negligee etc. my only beef with the film was with Carol Lynleys part...shes hardly in it!!!! and to see an actor of her calibre reduced to just a few lines and walk ins/walk outs was absurd. im amazed it was part directed (though its not clear how much of it) by Freddie Francis who is a great director and AMAZING cinematographer (The Innocents, Elephant man,Dune etc) as the films cinematography (while stylish at times) is quite mediocre.
still..though no classic..its a nice piece of 80s shlock thriller/horror. 7/10
