Elizabeth Warren?

I assume you mean Sam, played by Holt McCallany. Holt isn't Native-American. I'm not sure why they cast him in the role. Maybe they couldn't find a Native willing to portray such a disrespectful character. And I mean that in a psychopath who hates his own heritage kind of disrespectful.

The only other movie I recognize the actor from was the guy in ALIEN 3 who tried to rape Ripley.

Convening or not I thought he was hilarious. And I didn't know he was a white man before looking him up

reply

I wouldn't have guessed Caucasian by looking at him.

They had out a casting call for a Native character, but didn't specify they were looking for a Native actor. That's the way it used to be.

What about him doesn't look Indian? His facial features look like the people you see in historic Indian photos from the 19th century. He actually looks more Native American than many of the actual modern Native American actors you see today, because many of them have large percentages of European blood. There's a Canadian actor called August Schellenberg who is half Mohawk and he gets all these "Indian Chief" roles because of it, but he looks more like a German shopkeeper. OP was just virtue signalling. If we didn't know the actor was a Caucasian, nobody would ever have guessed. https://static0.srcdn.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/creepshow-2-holt-mccallany.jpg?q=50&fit=crop&w=960&h=500

Holy shit! I watched this last night and I had no idea he was the actor playing Sam. He's the detective from Mindhunter!

Whoever did his makeup was very talented. I didn't realise at all until I just read this 🤷‍♀️

And some of the worst acting you'll see. He's so bad it's comical.
