When I was growing up my friends and I thought Britney had dark blonde hair but years later I found out she was actually a red head. Just curious as to what color hair she others thought she had.

For some reason, WikiPedia (which is never completely accurate anyway) seems to think her hair is auburn, but that's WAY too dark for her!
When you get down to it, I believe some people simply believe she's a redhead because Ellie's a blondie, Jeanette's a brownie, so in contrast with both of those natural hair colors, what's the going to leave? Red. Although some people do have naturally black hair, but can you imagine Brittany with jet black hair? I mean now, and not when she's in her middle teenaged years and she decides she wants to be all goth-like.
Brittany is supposed to be SOME kind of blonde for two reasons: 1. Her predacesor, Charlene the Chipette was a blonde, and two, I've seen some stickers of Brittany that say "natural blonde" on them... but then again, it could be a mistake, because they also had her name misspelled as "Britney".
I'm thinking she's more like an amber, or a friend of mine even says "ginger colored"... I've seen actual model sheets of Brittany, and on the model sheets, her hair is tan, so I believe she's SUPPOSED to have very light brown hair.

I could get this blonde one, but I wouldn't want people think I'm dumb or anything... now this brown on the other hand would give me a level of "mystery"... but if I want to be mysterious, then I should go with this black one, but I look terrible in black, so if I went with this red one, I could contrast perfectly with my sisters, but I stand out better than then anyway, so maybe I should go with the blonde one, but I people would take one look at me and think I'm a ditz, so really I should go with the red one because they say redheads make better loves, but I really like this brown one, on the other hand...

They're design has changed a bit over the years. Brittany's hair was strawberry blonde and Eleanor's was silver blonde, but the more recent ones have Brittany's hair being more auburn or reddish brown while Eleanor's is a golden blonde.
