The tunnel with the water, that the crane dropped the car down into...

What was that? Where is it?

Most appreciated, friend.

The exterior is a shot from the overflow drains at the Hover Dam.

Actually, the INTERIOR tunnel is one of the overflow flumes inside Hoover Dam. We hung the car there on a cable and let David and Melanie slide down it. And when they splash down and find Six-Finger Jake on his raft with the mule, that's underneath the Dam. Musta been nuts.

I'm surprised -and, delighted- they'd let a film company use the tunnel. Was it the overflow, or the original construction bypass?
The liability release must've been like a phonebook. Then again, being Nevada, it might only have been, "It's your ass, bub."

What I had in mind was boxing the compass.

Thank goodness for the days before CGI - when stunts looked REAL! (Regardless of whether they looked cheesy or not - they were what they were).

I don't understand why the bad guys just dropped them in there and not way below.
I know the crane operator was about to die, but he still managed to work the controls.
Wouldn't the bad guys follow and look for them after they saw that they were dropped in there and not directly in the water?
Then 6 Finger just happened to be there and have a lair?
Seems like the bad guys would know. Ha.
