Dome buildings

What are the Dome buildings in the desert village where they blew up the bee house? I recall seeing an ad in Mother Earth News in the 1960s or 1970s. We are considering a temp building by our pond, to use at long events and possibly for a summer camp. Thanks for any info.

LOL! I just noticed them - I don't subscribe to Mother Earth News but I'm a big fan of Bio buildings etc. My wife had been bugging me to build a greenhouse where we can have something like rabbits and fish to give nutrients to the hydroponics plants and use it to heat the house - she's such a hippie at heart. I was busy building a pole barn - I know not how to build but when I saw those domes I got online to find out how to build them - now that my pole barn's mostly done I can't wait to try some sort of freaky building - my wife are currently flipping a house and after that I hope we'll take some of the money to buy a real dump and do something cool like add a dome addition to it.

Let me know if you find them - I'll let you know if I do.

Oh, just found these:

According to a wikipedia article on Cherry 2000, "Scenes at the Sky Ranch were filmed at the Beehive group camping area in the Valley of Fire State Park." While there are natural sandstone formations there that resemble beehives, no mention is made of the dome habitats.

The Valley of Fire website, http://www.valley-of-fire.com/, mentions Cherry 2000 as well along with other movies filmed there.
