The Suitcase, the Bread Truck, and The ATVs

I've just re-watched Cherry 2000 and have noticed a number of small discrepancies that I missed earlier.

After Sam escaped from the clutches of Stacy and Earl he ran directly to E. Johnson's place. He didn't have his suitcase with him, and they took off immediately for zone 7 without stopping at the hotel. After they were lowered by the crane into the Hoover Dam overflow tube, Sam pulled the suitcase out of the Mustang. When did it get there?

In the chase scene back to Las Vagas, Lester's group stops to unload ATVs from the bread truck. The got 8 ATVs out of a truck that looks like it wouldn't carry much more than two. Apparently the truck is bigger on the inside than the outside like the Doctor's TARDIS.

Another thing that struck me was what poor shots Lester's men were. With all those high-powered automatic rifles, rocket launchers, etc. They seemed unable to hit anything they were aiming at. What did they learn on those training exercises beyond how to keep the sun out of their eyes and be themselves?

I've always enjoyed this movie, yet it is fun to find these little oddities. C2K has a nice mix of action and humor. For example, Lester's flip-flop on Randa is both amusing and tragic. When he is having sex with her it's "Oh Randa, I do like your personality" then it becomes "Randa, you need to work at your personality" just before he blows her away.

Most Hollywood henchmen can't hit anything.

I'd blame Star Wars for that.
