Good 80's horror shlock

I actually had an opportunity to see this flick about ten years ago. I spotted it at the local video store and read the back of the box. Not sure why i didn't grab it, but I never completely forgot about it thanks to the great cover art. Recently I had the chance to watch it. I hoped for the best but didn't expect much. To my surprise I found I actually liked this flick. No, it's not great. As a slasher it's tame, and the acting is what you'd expect from a low budget 80's slasher. However, the film delivers it's own kinda charm, giving us likable characters and a pace that's pretty decent. Of course the girls are great to look at.

This is no master piece of B horror cinima. Like I said, it's not a bloody movie. There are some decent kill's, though nothing to interest a gorehound. Infact the kill's don't really ramp up till closer to the end. Most of the movie plays out like a low end version of "Meatballs" with a dash of slasher thrown in. Thing's don't get really dark till near the end. There's a who dunnit theme throughout, though I figured out who the killer was about 20 mins in. I've been down the horror who dunnit road many many times, so it wasn't especially hard for me to figure out, though some may keep guessing till the end which will only make the film that much more interesting.

All in all it's not a bad flick, you could do worse. If you want a fun 80's flick that will keep your attention, and your not a gorehound, then you probably wanna check this one out.
