Which of the three jocks was more of a d#ck IYO?

Big John?

Ricky?

Quint?

I know many will probably say Quint, but he wasn't present when the other two (including Ronald) were playing a prank on Kenneth's house.

I really wanted to see someone kick both John and Ricky's ass. After all they were the ones who really broke the friendship between Ken and Ronnie.

No, Ronnie is the one who really broke the friendship. He'd rather throw a bag of sh*t at the home of a friend who would always accept him than lose the "friendship" of the cool crowd - whose friendship he'd always have to work for.

Kenneth was the biggest prick, yelling at Ronald about the crap bomb on his house. That house sucked.

Of the jocks I would say Quinton. Overall I would say Kenneth was the biggest jerk though. Not excusing Ronald for throwing the crap bomb on his house but Kenneth came across as bitter to Ronald during the time of his new found popularity.

Gerardo wasn't really a dick, mostly he just kinda hung out with the other dicks. He never instigated any of the trouble on his own.

Big John also seemed like a harmless big doofus, trying to get laid and drunk at every turn, and farting his way through the movie.

But the Quint guy, he was aggressive and obnoxious. He seemed to be the leader of the other 2 and was the most insulting and combative. A really big jerk.

Yep, that's right. At that point after he says "you $hit on my house!", Kenneth knows that Ronald is really upset and sorry about what he did and he realizes he may as well not hold a grudge forever. I like that scene a lot between Kenneth and Ronald in the arcade, it's probably the best scene in the movie. Dempsey and Gains are very good actors, you can feel the emotion between them and it works. You feel bad for both of them.

OP - Quinton was the biggest jerk. The other two are just harmless meatheads, but Quinton is someone who could get rough if he wanted to, like in that scene at the end where he grabs Kenneth. The other two were actually trying dissuade him from doing so, but were too cowardly to intervene.

I agree about how Kenneth acted over Ronald being popular.

But throwing a bag of sh*t at your house? Just to keep his cool status? That was total disrespect and really low. And not something I would be able to say, "Oh, forget all about it!" over.

Absolutely, I don't think Kenneth should have just gotten over the *beep* bomb either. Ronald totally sold himself out to be popular, then he sold out his best friend and years of solid, real friendship. Not cool.

Quint. On the very first day of school he; stole a kid's lunch, intimidated another kid to sit somewhere else, and tried to intimidate Ronnie into sitting somewhere else all in less than a minute!
