Which side would you have supported?

Would you have been a Puritan supporter of Parliament? Or would you have supported the King?

For myself---although I can understand some of the feelings of the Parliamentarians, I would have supported the King. Primarily because he had the most legitimate authority through tradition and religion.

What do others say?
