Inspiration for the Soundtrack

David Newman composes very good soundtracks, and they are very "traditionally" scored, in terms of instrument usage.

Anyone that knows of Holst's The Planets Suite, can hear DOZENS of soundtracks inspired by this suite, include many era Disney films.

For people that are interested, listen to "Saturn" neat the 5:42 mark for inspiration for the junkyard crusher scene (after the song). Or, just listen to the whole track as it has a BLT feel to it..

That's the only Planets reference that comes to mind but I'm sure there's more.

Its fun for me to listen to older music and say "aha so that's where he got it from!"
