If this song were to be re-recorded for a theoretical "'80s Animated Flicks" tribute album as an ensemble number, here's who I'd try to get for it:

Blue Sedan --- Eddie Vedder
Pink Convertible --- Kristin Chenoweth
Red Corvette --- Chris Cornell
Indy Car --- Gary LeVox
Texas Limo --- Carrie Underwood
Hearse --- Adam Lambert
Woodie --- Katy Perry
Green Pickup --- Michael McCary

WDYGT? Who do you think would fit the roles?

Yes, they're worthless alright. Although I'd probably replace Vedder with Bieber or somebody.

Im an artist on Deviantart and I've actually been doing a series on the "Worthless" cars, drawing what their lives might have looked like before they were dumped based on their lyrics. If you're interested you can check them out at www.half-dude.deviantart.com

ANYWAY.. plug aside, as part of my drawings I've been supplying songs along with the pictures and in the process gotten some modern musical artists that I think sound a lot like the cars in the movie. It's not a whole list but here's what I got:

Red Corvette --- John Fogerty (of CCR)

Woodie --- Faith Hill (this song is especially fitting http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZPySUgIplXw)

Green Pickup --- Isaac Hayes (sun the "Shaft" themesong)
