Yes I agree too. I love the cast that survives or don't survive depending on how you look at it. I watched it again myself to celebrate the new year and the films 20th anniverrsery.
I just got this flick on DVD. It's based on a great premise - being stuck in a time warp. Only wish there was a bit more explanation - particulaly the appearance and disappearance of the hosuemaid. I think it's a fun movie - better than many in the genre. Just needs more explanation of the what and why of what's happening to them.
SPOILER: The American girl in the boat at the end who gets pulled in - her spirit seems trapped - and totally unable to "join the party" at the end - was that because she didn't die on the island?
i love this movie. its one of those films that i like to classify as a WTF/ WTF LOL movie since during and after you will find yourself saying "what the $%&^" and/or laughing afterwards.
too bad its so rare. i just got the last one off of dvdempire.com for about 14 bucks.
You know, kbtoys100, you're absolutely right. It's one of those movies that makes you laugh as the situation evolves. It is a "What the ****" movie - and every time I've shown it to friends, it's made for some great laughs.

about the dvd, wasent there supposed to be a trailer and commentary on it? on ebay its listed under the special features but the dvd is bare bones.
shareExactly - the DVD I got has no trailer or commentary. While I see this was low budget, I'd hoped some details would be provided. I'm glad I'm not the only one feeling this way, LOL!
