Funniest part(s)???

One good joke is the James Brown car alarm commerical. Very witty.

A sequence of bits when David constantly crashes into stores is very funny and very Blake Edwards.

AND my favorite one is not the golfball hitting tree bit that everyone is talking about. It is the scene where Bruce Willis goes beserk and holds David at gunpoint at the party in the front of the house. "Dance!" (David dances pathetically) "Moonwalk!" (David does the Moonwalk) "I hate that s**t!!!" and Bruce starts shooting at David. I was laughing so freakin' hard at that!

Each time David confronts Walter and Nadia on the date is priceless.

The dinner party, particularly when Nadia goes over to Yakamoto's table.

William Daniels, I think, deserves grand kudos for his role as Judge Harold Bedford.

reply

I think all of it is funny.
Everything i just laugh through the whole film at the funny parts.

reply

Call me childish, but I always thought Bruce Willis vomiting in his brother's brand new Mercedes was hilarious. I haven't see it for years though.

reply

I like the part where he put his business card in Nadias hand, and then he tried to play it off.

Chaos was what killed the dinosaurs, darling.

reply

The scene when Walter holds David at gunpoint and says "Moonwalk!" and then says "I hate that *beep* and starts firing at David was hilarious. The other scene was when David hits the car and shouts "I'll kill you!" was just as funny too.

I agree--the moonwalk scene was the funniest--although the Japanese ladies wig coming off was a close 2nd

reply

All of those scenes were hilarious as well as the part when David hits Walter's car and screams " I'll KILL YOU!!" This movie is great!

Great scene. Why isn't John Larroquette doing comedy anymore? He was terrific in this movie and in Night Court.

I just saw this movie again on tv and remembered how funny it is! There are so many fun parts - of course, the restaurant scene is classic, as is the 'drive home' when Walter asks the address of her friend and she says drunkly, 'i know the house' (hilarious!), and then when about to knock on the door of the house, it is hauled away (didnt see that coming in first viewing!) even though iknew something funny was coming up. The golfball pranks were also funny, oh, and the wedding....'are you alright, agnes?'..too funny!

reply

I like the crashes
All scenes with violence

The runaway house
The whole restaurant scene
The girls
The drinking
Even the romance (bruce.kim were gr8 together)

The wedding was great
Even when they fell out was good to and when Walter chasing her was cool too

This film had moments in it that cracked me up
Denny was gr8 too+phildaniels R.I.P

"Mrs. Yakamoto, did you know in the state of California you are entitled to 50% of your husband's assets?"

"Hifty percent?!"

reply

Oh... and of course...

"And we want to have the wedding at your house."

"There goes the neighborhood."

"Thanks, Dad!"

"SHHH!!! Jesus!"

You're not the only one. I love that part when he's like "Moonwalk!....I hate that sh*t!" I also love any moment with Phil Hartman. He was great in that movie.
